Welcome to my new website about surfskating. This website is a hobby project and I hope to provide you with some interesting content here.
My name is Alex, I am 40 years old and I discovered surf skating as a new hobby after a long absence from skateboarding. Somehow I stumbled on on this cool hobby by looking for a nice sportive additions to windsurfing. I quickly cached fire and bought my first surfskate, a YOW pucas. The first rides were a total amazing experience. The second acquisition was a Carver Carson Proteus with CX trucks. After shredding these nearly daily in a nearby park I decided to start building a stuff myself. Coming from a technical background I started to study all kind of sources and started to experiment.
This blog is a little bit like my dairy in which I want to present other interested skaters my ideas and findings. While surf skating becomes more and popular the information sources about certain topics are still very limited.
This blog is an independent hobby project. I am not sponsored or otherwise supported by any commercial third party. All opinions are my own.
